What is Spotlight?
Spotlight is a product that only new homes customer has. Spotlight is only available on certain packages (not listings only or coming soon membership). You can find out more about New Homes packages in the article linked below:
Spotlight allows additional information in their listings and this is edited and looked after by the customer.
When adding spotlight within site admin this can only be done at brand level. If an agent needs access to an individual branch, you can now amend their permissions at branch level in the 'User Management' section of Rightmove Plus.
The additional information is shown in two places, the search results page and the property details page.
Search results page
- The property will appear bolder within the results similar to a premium
- listing
- More images displayed, showing 4 images rather than 2
- New homes specific sticker text
Property details page
- 6 additional features within the about developer section
- Title of the advert
- Disclaimer
Updating Individual Property Stickers
- Visit the Spotlight page on Rightmove Plus: https://admin.rightmove.co.uk/property-products/spotlight
- Select 'Edit' next to a property name
- Either select a sticker from the list, or select 'Set to Default'
- Click Confirm
Updating Default Property Stickers
Route 1: Rightmove Plus
- Visit the Spotlight page on Rightmove Plus: https://admin.rightmove.co.uk/property-products/spotlight
- Select 'Settings'
- Amend the default sticker via the dropdown
- Click Save
Route 2: Novus INTERNAL USER ONLY
- Visit a branch with the product
- Look for Spotlight within the package and either click Rightmove Plus (and follow Route 1 instructions) or Product Details
- If you selected the Product Details route, you'll see a screen with a sticker dropdown
- Amend the default sticker via the dropdown
- Click Save
Updating Bullet Points
Note: this is currently used for Spotlight, Advanced Development Listing and Microsite, so any edits will change the features listed on all of those.
Route 1: Rightmove Plus
- Visit the Spotlight page on Rightmove Plus: https://admin.rightmove.co.uk/property-products/spotlight
- Select 'Settings'
- Amend one or more development features
- Click Save
Route 2: Novus INTERNAL USER ONLY
- Visit a branch with the product
- Look for Spotlight within the package and either click Rightmove Plus (and follow Route 1 instructions) or Product Details
- If you selected the Product Details route, you'll see a screen with features listed
- Amend one or more development features
- Click Save
Route 3: Site Admin INTERNAL USER ONLY
- Visit a branch with the product
- Edit the branch
- Go to the final stage/page for editing the branch
- Amend one or more development features
- Click Save
Adding a Video
- Visit the Spotlight page on Rightmove Plus: https://admin.rightmove.co.uk/property-products/spotlight
- Select 'Settings'
- In the Development Video section either:
- Add a valid Vimeo URL, then click Add Video
- Add a file for a supported video type
- Click Save
Changing a Video
- Visit the Spotlight page on Rightmove Plus: https://admin.rightmove.co.uk/property-products/spotlight
- Select 'Settings'
- In the Development Video section, click 'Remove Video'
- Follow steps in the above 'Adding a Video' section to add a new video, or click Save to finish with no video.
