- What about agents who upload their properties manually?
What about agents who let properties in Wales?
Agents advertising Welsh properties for let are not required to include redress and CMP scheme details on Rightmove, only permitted payments. However, they do have to display this information on your own website.
Where does the information display on Rightmove?
On all lettings properties on Rightmove there is a 'Tenancy Info' tab, so prospective tenants can see all the relevant information on one place.
We recommend the lettings agents use this 'Tenancy Info' space on Rightmove to display all required information under the Act. The information can be updated via Rightmove Plus or through the agents software if they use a datafeed.
What happens if an agent doesn't update the tenancy information with the required information?
If they do not update their listing to meet the requirements under the Act, they risk being prosecuted.
What about agents who use a software?
Fees can be sent through the Datafeed, if the agent is unsure where to input the data, then they will need to speak to their provider directly for guidance.
