This article will talk you through how to action non payers for Private Vendors

Things to know

  • This Task is split into 2 Parts, the first part is to be completed at the start of the month around the 7th and the second part is to be completed roughly 2 weeks after. 
  • Around the 7th of the month (You will get a Freshdesk ticket from Credit Control with a list of non-payers for the month you are in).  This will be sent to: private.seller@rightmove.co.uk. If you have not received it reach out to Credit Control

How to process - Task 1

  1. Once you have received the spreadsheet, save it into the shared folder; Save it as the month you are, I.E. August 2024- Non-Payers PV

2. Once you have saved the spreadsheet, you will need to get the PV’s email from Site Admin. 


3.Whilst on-site admin, you will need to set the branch Invisible.  To do this tick the box as shown below and then select ‘Make selected branches invisible’ (this will be at the bottom of the page).

4.Once the Branch is invisible, you will now want to email the PV using the canned response, /C Monthly task- Non-payers, fill in the missing blanks, and send off. 

Remember- to set the from email to Private Seller (private.seller@rightmove.co.uk)


5.Continue to do this for each individual PV. Once each email has been sent, this part is complete. 

*Should a private seller call in and want to make the payment you will need to take the payment for the month which you are in and also set up a brand new PB. Once this has been done manually set the Branch to "Visible" in Site Admin.  Ensure you mark the vendor as "Paid" in the spreadsheet to help you keep track*

How to process - Task 2

On or around the 22nd of every month (as per the monthly reminder)

  1. Go into the non-payer spreadsheet, and ensure all branches that have not paid are still invisible on-site admin. If the vendor has paid, ensure they are visible on-site.
  2. If the vendor hasn’t paid, you will now end the contract in Novus, from the Site admin, select products, and go to Novus. 
  3. Once on Novus, Select Actions and press Process Leaver.
