We often receive inbound from our Customers who would like to order Rightmove Marketing Material for themselves or their office. Our agents can place orders via the Hub, which will go straight through to our Warehouse (where our stocks are kept), however in some instances they may contact us to place the order on their behalf. The below will direct you on how to access the SOS system.
What is SOS?
SOS is the company/warehouse, that holds all of our Marketing Material stock. We can contact them directly to place orders and to also query missing orders.
How do I get a SOS login?
If you are in need of a Login for the SOS system, then this can be requested from SOS directly. Please ask you Team Leader to raise this request on your behalf to sossales@soslogistics.co.uk
Placing an order via SOS
- Log in to the 3PL Warehouse Manager system via this link SOS Login
- Click 'Orders' > Create Order
- Select Rightmove, SOS and then give your order a reference (this can be whatever you want, but you might want to include your initials and the data to make orders easier to find)
- Enter the address recipient’s name and address.
- Scroll down to the next section to select your items. Either select from the drop down or start typing the name to find the item. Most are self explanatory, but try scrolling through the list if nothing appears when you start typing something
- Choose a quantity then add each line item one at a time.
- Everything you’ve added will then appear in the rows below so you can do a quick final check.
- All you need to do now is save your order. Click SAVE from the options at the top (it will stay at the top as you scroll down the screen).
- Don’t click Mark as Complete or Ship and Close – these buttons are for the Warehouse to use. You also don’t need to enter anything in the delivery section. SOS will do this.
How to Check the Status of an Order
- Click Orders > Find Orders
- You need to add some columns first to make this report more useful.
- Click on Options > Columns in the top right.
- Make sure you’ve got these options selected then click Save:
- The quickest way to find orders you’ve placed yourself is to find the “Created By” column, then enter your name and click Filter
- From here, you can filter further by the postcode, address or Ship To Name, to find the specific order. The two main columns to then look at are the Create Date and Pick Ticket Print Date.
The Create Date confirms when this order was placed on the system (useful if you’re chasing an order placed via the Hub rather than by yourself directly – as these take a couple of days longer for SOS to add to the system).
The Pick Ticket Print Date is when the order has been printed off by the Warehouse ready for their team to pick the items and package up, ready for postage. Orders will be picked, packed and sent to post within 3 days of the Pick Ticket Print Date. Postage then usually takes a further 2-3 days. So a good estimate to give a customer for an estimated arrival date is 7 working days from the Pick Ticket Print Date.
