The below article will go through troubleshooting, if an Agent ever contacts us about a missing Local Homepage or Featured Agent
Is the product Live?
- Ask the customer which branch the product should be showing for
- Ask the customer what search term(s) they are using
- Search the product in Novus, to ensure they are Live & set to 'Visible'
Is the product on site?
After establishing the product is live in Atlas, complete a search on the main website to check whether is does or does not appear.
Local Home Page
- Ensure you are in the right channel, Sales/Lettings/Commercial
- Ensure you are using the right search term
- Click through the 4 slots
Featured Agent
- Ensure you are in the right channel
- Enter the correct search term
- Click through all of the search results pages
If you still cannot see the LHP/FA on site, send the ticket over to CTC.
Remember - Fa's will not rotate through all the adverts when hitting F5 on the search results page.
Checking for Replication
For CTC: If you are still unable to see the product after checking all of the above, ensure you check the page t should show on for replication issues.
- Go to the page the product should be showing on
- Replace 'https://www.rightmove.co.uk/' with each of the below to check all 3 sites
- If the product shows on one or more of the above, but not the another this is a replication problem. Please raise to the Support Analysts via the help desk.
Featured Agents are difficult to check in this way as you will need to go through each search results page. If there are only 1 or 2 search results pages this this is worth doing, however If you have not seen the product during the previous steps, it may be quicker to log with the Support Analysts
