This article uses a key to explain the different elements of a credit note so you can understand the content.

Yellow – These details are completed in site admin under P&R payer management.   Here we can update company name, address, email address, PO number, telephone number and method of receiving invoices.  If the company name needs to be amended and it has a different company registration number to their current name, we would require a new contract for a new payer to be completed by the AM with their new company name.

Green – Every agent has their own customer number (also known as payer reference). We use this to search for customer invoices in our billing system and can also be used in Site Admin to see what branches use these payer details.

Blue – This is the date the credit note has been added to their Rightmove account for their customer number

Red – This is the specific credit note number and these always start as 15 and 14 for invoices

Pink – This area of the invoice shows what period the credit note is for, a breakdown of what is included within this invoice and costs.

At the bottom of the invoice will state the Net amount, which is the cost before VAT is added.

The invoice total is the total cost including VAT and how much is due to be credited back to the customer.
