We’ve made improvements to the Best Price Guide report on Rightmove Plus. The new Best Price Guide is quicker and easier to complete, more detailed and can be shared online or on mobile.

Why have I lost my Best Price Guide progress? 


We're working on improvements that would allow you to retrieve your report creation progress in the event of your computer crashing or accidentally refreshing the page. Until then we would recommend not refreshing the page and if the page crashes, you will need to start the Best Price Guide again.


RM+ Error/message States



This means that the subject property cannot be found. This data comes from our location search (LOS) so if this breaks, then this functionality won't work. 



This means that comparable properties are not found based on their search criteria. This will be because no similar properties are available, potentially if the search criteria is too specific. 



This means that graph data cannot be retrieved (the top 2 graphs are fetched from Customer Performance Data (CPD) and the third graph is fetched from Vertica). Breakages to these systems could result in the above.



This means that the demand graph has too many property types so the user must click 'edit criteria', untick a property type and update to see the graph.



This is a PDF preview error – this plugs into the PDF service so if that is down then likely you'll get this error state.


Digital Report – Error states



The digital report page has expired – it will appear 12 months from report creation date.



Failure to fetch the data object from Couchbase – this could happen because there is something wrong with BPA and it cannot retrieve data from Couchbase.



404 not found failure – likely to happen if one of the applications are completely down – e.g. the cloud apps where the FED code lives.


Why are old property listing's not showing?


We have removed reloaded properties from the new Best Price Guide so that it only includes properties currently listed on Rightmove.


One of the highest bits of feedback we received was that properties were incorrectly showing when they've been reloaded. To ensure that our data is up to date and accurate, we have made the decision to remove these listings from the reports. By making this change, estate agents will not be able to benefit from inflated listings into the Best Price Guide.
